Direct Sales Advisor

Coleshill, Birmingham£25,000 per annum plus commission

We are looking for a Direct Sales Advisor to join the Skin Brands team to support with the future growth and management of sales. In this role you will be accountable for driving sales opportunities and supporting with the account management within the existing portfolio via inbound and outbound calls. You will also support in the development of new business, building strong relationships and providing customer service to the highest of standards.

You will be working within a new team during an exciting time where we are working together and with the wider team on improving current processes and implementing new ones to support the growth of the business.

We are looking for driven sales advisors who care about business success and understand the importance of driving sales and revenue. You must be self-motivated and have a passion for providing excellent customer service and delivering results.

This is a fast-paced role so you must be able to demonstrate a highly tenacious attitude that goes above and beyond for our customers.

Basic Salary: £25,000 per annum FTE plus £200 bonus each month when targets are met. Additional 3% commission payable monthly for all sales above target.


  • Identify opportunities for cross selling and growth of the existing customer accounts to support and drive sales revenue.
  • Identify new opportunities to upsell and cross sell to existing accounts and take ownership of outbound calls, converting them into new orders.
  • Work closely with Sales team to meet and exceed personal, team and business targets.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence via email.
  • Dealing with customer returns and ensuring stock levels are recorded correctly at all times.
  • Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance.
  • Creating and managing documents & spreadsheets.
  • Compiling reports for Sales team.
  • Speaking to customers and clients to answer queries regarding new and existing products, financial discrepancies and resolve any issues.
  • Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
  • Act as an ambassador for the company when dealing with customers and suppliers and create an excellent first and lasting impression.
  • Receiving, processing and verifying purchase orders including customers' personal information and payment details.
  • Issuing sales transaction invoices.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments to ensure quality service is maintained and improved where necessary.
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.

Requirements and skills

  • IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of programmes including but not limited to; email, CRM, Sage and spreadsheets.
