Interim Senior Graphic Designer

Coleshill, Birmingham£35-40k per annum DOE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Graphic Designer to come and work with our Marketing team, initially on a fixed term contract, with potential to become permanent. This is a hybrid role, working 3 day per week in our Coleshill Support Office (Mon-Weds)


The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for delivering a range of online and offline marketing material for the SKN group; sk:n, The Harley Medical Group, Skinbrands and The MOLE Clinic. Always thinking customer first, this would include creating digital assets for the websites, coming up with creative concepts for campaigns, as well as delivering all campaign collateral, producing assets and creative for emails, creating assets for digital performance marketing, supporting the social team with the creation of social assets, as well as Support Centre collateral, brand guidelines and departmental ad hoc design requests.


Key responsibilities

  • Creating customer centric design across all printed and digital media for the SKN group, using sales and digital trends/data to measure effectiveness
  • Own the brand guidelines, be the gatekeeper and evolve them as we redefine our brands, treatment and skincare categories
  • Work to brand guidelines/toolkits to drive consistency and efficiency
  • Attend campaign planning sessions, coming up with new ideas and creative concepts for marketing campaigns across all channels, to drive awareness, engagement, consideration and conversion
  • Create clinic/B2B/B2C collateral and toolkits that promote our brands, treatments, skincare services and products
  • Work with the social and content team to create engaging and informative content
  • Develop digital assets for website, mobile, email and paid media channels
  • Work closely with our core product brands, including Epionce, Medik8 and GrandeLash, to utilise their assets and adapt accordingly
  • Present in campaign planning and review meetings. Ensuring actions from reviews are carried out in accordance with feedback and schedules
  • Create a variety of ad-hoc media outputs (print and digital) as requested by other departments in the Support Centre
  • Undertake competitor reviews to shape learnings and for creative inspiration


Person specification

  • At least 6 years’ relevant graphic design experience
  • Relevant industry experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in both digital and print design, campaign ideation and creation, and artworking
  • Experienced in working across multiple brands
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience in creating and delivering brand guidelines
  • Strong layout and typography skills
  • Confident in presenting work and contextualising the visual direction alongside sales and customer insight
  • High attention to detail and excellent proof-reading
  • Problem-solves through design
  • Smart, inquisitive, flexible and hands-on
  • Friendly, enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A good team worker but also able to work independently
  • A fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to meet business deadlines
